Church of the Resurrection of Christ, Auckland
Welcome!
Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!
Welcome to the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Auckland, New Zealand! Our parish rector, the Parish Council, the Sisterhood, the Brotherhood, and all of our parishioners extend their heartfelt greetings!
We are a parish of the Australian and New Zealand Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, striving to maintain our spiritual and cultural heritage as Russian Orthodox Christians and fulfil the commandment of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ: "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)
Glory be to God! It is with joy that we bring you the news, that after many years of searching and many unrealised projects, our community has finally acquired a building as a home for our new church and parish centre.
The Church of the Resurrection served the needs of Orthodox Christians for more than 70 years and, of course, became too small to fit in our growing parish family. We will be very happy to see you at the Divine Services in the new church at 455-461 Dominion Rd, Mt Eden
We hope that your visit to our site will be spiritually rewarding and that you will visit it often.
If you have any questions or queries about any subject relating to our church life here in Auckland or in New Zealand in general, please email Father Vladimir at info@orthodox.nz.
